Mental Health Investment Fund (MHIF)

Surrey County Council and Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board have announced a £1.7 million Mental Health Investment Fund (MHIF), awarded to Community Foundation Surrey (CFS) to manage the grant process. By entrusting CFS with these funds, the available amount for organisations to bid on will be doubled—fantastic news for the community!

The grants will focus on three key priority areas, identified by CFS and their donors:

  • Multiple disadvantages affecting those in early years
  • Whole family support for anxiety in children or individuals facing multiple disadvantages
  • Suicide prevention

The grants will be available for a duration of five years. The first grant cycle will open soon, so we encourage organisations to check the CFS website for updates.
