Event: Us in a Bus, Networking Breakfast for Care Professionals

Date & Time: Wednesday 18th April 2018, 09.00am – 11.00am

Venue: Reigate Manor Hotel

Us in a Bus would like to invite you to their breakfast event on 18th April, where they look forward to sharing and discussing various topics around best practice in care.

“We will start with an introduction that addresses some details of the expectations set out in the Valuing People Now Care Act (2011), and specifically how they apply to the CQC regime. After this, our Director of Training Janet Gurney, a professional of some 30 years’ experience in the field of PMLD will talk on the link between well-being and Intensive Interaction, and how well-being is a thing to value, cherish and measure. She will be followed by Anne Laney, one of our most experienced Practioners who will talk about playfulness and how it contributes meaningfully to the lives of the people we support. We will then have a Q&A session for open and general questions, followed by coffee and pastries, over which there will be half an hour to get detailed assistance from our team on any specific or personal challenges you may wish to discuss. There is also the opportunity to network with other key individuals delivering care and support services in Surrey.”

This event is free to attend. Refreshments, including pastries and fresh fruit, will be provided.
