Christmas is an important time of year in the fundraising calendar and many charities and voluntary organisations run a fundraising or gift donation campaign around this time.
To help co-ordinate Christmas activities, VARB is holding a meeting for all voluntary and community organisations that are thinking about running a Christmas campaign in 2018. The purpose of the meeting is:
- To share information about Christmas campaigns to minimise potential overlap
- To consider co-ordinating campaign publicity and look at other opportunities to pool resources
- To look at how any surplus resources can be best utilised (e.g. presents, food donations)
- To identify volunteer requirements at an early stage
