A free participatory workshop for Volunteer Co-ordinators and anyone who is responsible for recruiting new volunteers. This half day workshop will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm on 14 February at The Salvation Army, Lower Bridge Rd, Redhill RH1 1HJ.
Successfully recruiting new volunteers can be a challenging task. It is increasingly important that voluntary and community organisations are able to find volunteers and that they recruit effectively.
This workshop will cover the basics of Volunteer Recruitment:
- What preparation is needed before recruitment starts
- Getting the word out to potential volunteers
- Having a clear application and appointment process
This workshop would be suitable for people who are new in their role or who would like to refresh their approach to volunteer recruitment by sharing ideas and experience with others.
