Office Help – Land and City Families Trust

In Office, Volunteer Opportunities by Lisa Irwin

The aim of the charity is to offer short breaks to disadvantaged children who would otherwise not have the opportunity to enjoy the open spaces that the local surroundings can offer them. Many of the children experience unhappy family backgrounds and cope on a daily basis with the entirely undesirable but all too common problems of living in a big city. Sadly some of the children that stay at the house are subject to supervision and care orders.  The Old Pheasantry, based in Mogador can provide a safe environment in which the young groups can live and carry out group activities. It also provides a base from which the visiting groups of children can return from day trips such as a day at the seaside or local sports centres or just a day in the beautiful countryside that is just on our doorstep.  They are looking for some Office Help to help the Manager with general office duties e.g. diary management, responding to emails, answering the phone, listening to answerphone messages and responding to these.  Timings are flexible (Monday – Friday) and can be discussed with the Manager.
