Friends of ESDAS – East Surrey Domestic Abuse Services (ESDAS)

In Volunteer Opportunities, Bite size by Lisa Irwin

East Surrey Domestic Abuse Services (ESDAS) is an independent charity providing outreach and associated services in the borough of Reigate & Banstead and the districts of Mole Valley and Tandridge.  They are looking for volunteers to join their Friends of ESDAS, who are volunteers that are asked to be available for ad hoc support such as, events, fundraising, interpreting, PR & marketing, graphic designing, publicity working members, giving short talks to interested groups, transport, etc.  All out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed. You will be asked to provide a reference and will be welcome to attend Day One of the Volunteer Induction programme which will include a half day training overview of ‘What is Domestic Abuse’ and will familiarise you with the workings and ethos of ESDAS. If you cannot attend this full day training there will be further information sessions available.
