In Office, Volunteer Opportunities by Lisa Irwin

The Patchworking Garden Project based in Dorking, promotes the improvement of well being as a result of accessing the therapeutic benefits of gardening in a volunteer supported environment which include better physical health, improved psychological health, improved social opportunities, learning new skills and access to natural environment.  They are looking for admin support to help organise rotas of volunteers to ensure sickness and holiday can be covered and the sessions run with a safe minimum amount of support.  Help organise the waiting list and allocation of spaces for those attending the 6 week induction course in the morning sessions, or run the list of those signing up to attend in the afternoons.  Help develop a system whereby anyone who supports them is thanked in a timely fashion then kept abreast of developments with a regular supporters newsletter.
