Volunteering is something everyone can do
Whatever your interest, wherever you live, whether you have lots of time – you can make a difference. Voluntary Action Reigate & Banstead is here to help you take the first steps
Aspire is a project designed to help and support anyone who faces challenges in their life into volunteering. We have a dedicated project co-ordinator who will work with potential volunteers in a non-judgmental and supportive manner. We can also provide support with attending interviews, help with journey planning and much more.
Since the Aspire Project resumed in July 2018. We have helped 35 people into volunteering positions. These positions are many and varied and cover anything form dog walking to research roles, retail to web design. There is something for everyone and volunteering is a great way to bridge the gap between unemployment and paid work – if that’s what you’re looking for. It may be that you just want to get out of the house or learn a new skill, make new friends or get a reference.
